Job summary

Texas Instruments seeks candidates for the Field Applications Engineer track within the FAST program in the United States. The 12-month program includes three rotations across Field Sales Office, Mass Market, and BU/SEM to develop systems-level solutions and strong customer engagement skills.

Participants will become FAEs on TI's Worldwide Sales & Applications team upon completion, working with design engineering to identify projects and propose complete solutions, while leveraging technical

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Electrical and Computer Engineering or related field
• Cumulative 3.0/4.0 GPA or higher
• Experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, soldering and debugging skills (preferred)
• Programming skills in C/C++ (LabVIEW recommended)
• Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work in teams and collaborate with people in different functions
• Strong time management skills enabling on-time project delivery
• Ability to take initiative and drive for results

Responsibilities

• Using various sales tools and relationships with design engineering to identify all potential projects
• Providing customers with proactive proposals for complete, system-level solutions that maximize TI content
• Using broad technical expertise to influence customers' part selection process while favorably positioning TI versus competition
