Job summary

Nextpower LLC is seeking a Field Applications Engineer, Electrical Systems to design, validate, and deploy advanced PV + Storage power plant solutions. This hybrid role requires collaboration across electrical engineering and real-world implementations.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in electrical engineering and is proficient in AC/DC power systems. Salary ranges from $100,000 to $110,000 annually, along with comprehensive benefits including healthcare and unlimited paid time off.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering, power systems, solar PV, or energy storage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (25–50%).

Responsibilities

• Develop eBOS designs and manage system interfaces.
• Conduct system-level testing and validation.
• Support deployment and troubleshoot field issues.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
• Collaborate with R&D and product engineering teams.
