Job summary

Texas Instruments in Santa Clara offers the FAST Program for aspiring Field Applications Engineers. This 12-month track features three rotations: Field Sales Office, Mass Market, and BU/SEM, culminating in a role within TI's Worldwide Sales & Applications team.

You will learn to analyze technical trade-offs, select components, and design system-level solutions with customers and design engineers. A Bachelor’s in EE and a 3.0 GPA are expected, with hands-on lab and C/C++ programming skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• GPA 3.0/4.0 or higher
• Experience with lab equipment, soldering, debugging; programming in C/C++ (LabVIEW recommended)

Responsibilities

• FAE responsibilities include: Using various sales tools and relationships with design engineering to identify all potential projects
• Providing customers with proactive proposals for complete, system-level solutions that maximize TI content
• Using broad technical expertise to influence customers' part selection process while favorably positioning TI versus competition
