Job summary

Arrow Electronics is seeking a Field Applications Engineer- FPGA to combine design and customer-focused technical advocacy. You’ll drive demand creation, solution selling, and cross-functional collaboration across sales and engineering teams to accelerate customer designs.

Hybrid work in San Jose, CA, requires FPGA experience, CRM proficiency, and Excel skills. A Bachelor’s in engineering is required; sales experience is a plus and export regulations may apply.

• Demand Creation & Design Wins: Drive demand creation by maximizing Arrow content on customer designs and securing high-ROI engineering investments.
• Technical Solution Selling: Leverage deep technical expertise, engineering resources, and solution-selling strategies to solve complex customer requirements.
• Cross-Functional & Sales Collaboration: Partner with sales, internal departments, and suppliers across pre- and post-sales activities to deliver technical consulting and align design priorities.
• Strategic Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with key decision-makers across suppliers and customers, managing expectations and executing strategic initiatives.
• Continuous Learning & Alignment: Participate in ongoing supplier technical training to stay current on emerging technologies and conduct joint research to support customer designs.

Work Arrangement

Salary & Benefits

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate: $91,900.00 - $182,000.01 Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
