Job summary

Amphenol Corporation in Seattle, WA is seeking a Field Applications Engineer to support Tier 1 Data Center clients. You will be the engineering resource on the sales team, leading technical aspects of the sales cycle, discovery, design, prototyping and production.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering, 5+ years in customer-facing design or applications engineering of electrical hardware components, and experience with power interconnects. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Engineering resource on the sales team to lead technical aspects of the sales cycle; discovery, design, prototyping, and production.
• Provide technical marketing support for development and design-in of commercial products, including power interconnects.
• Prepare and participate in technical presentations.
• 3D CAD modeling and manipulation.
• Develop customer-facing material that is application specific.
• Provide customer support for technical inquiries; address product solutions.
• Help devise strategies to differentiate our products.
• Meet and exceed strategic objectives.
• Some travel will be required.

We are currently seeking a Field Applications Engineerto support ourTier 1 Data Center clients. The position will be based in the Seattle, WA area.

The FAE engineering team interfaces with customers, internal product development, product marketing, and the extended salesteamto provideworld-class interconnectsolutions to our customers.

• Engineering resource on the sales team to lead technical aspects of the sales cycle; discovery,design,prototyping, and production
• Providing technical marketing support for the development anddesign -inof Commercial Products, including internal/externalpower,memory, storage, and internal IO
• Prepare and participate in technical presentations
• Including 3d-CAD modeling and manipulation
• Develop customer-facing material that is application specific
• Provide customer supportforall technical inquiries; provide product solutionsto address customer concerns
• Help devise strategieesto differentiate our products and solutions from our competitors
• Meet and exceed strategic objectives
• Some travel will be required

Education/ Experience:

• Bachelor's Degreein an Engineering discipline or other technical equivalent
• Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• 5+ years of experiencein customer-facing Design or Applications Engineering of electrical hardware components/interconnect solutions industry
• Experience providing product marketingand technical support to produce design wins
• Strong preference for experience with Power interconnect and Power architecture applications
