Job summary

Nordic Semiconductor in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Field Application Engineer to enable customers to use Nordic technology across diverse applications. You will be a key technical resource for both internal and external teams, owning critical customer relationships and driving successful design-ins.

Responsibilities include presenting Nordic’s value, understanding customer use cases, and collaborating with regional sales to deliver solutions while rapidly addressing inquiries and delivering

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or similar.
• 4+ years of embedded software development with hardware understanding (digital/analog).
• 2+ years supporting customer product development with ARM microcontrollers.
• Experience with wireless protocols (BLE, Wi‑Fi, Thread, Zigbee, cellular).
• Experience interfacing IoT devices with cloud services (AWS/Azure).

Responsibilities

• Create and present Nordic Semiconductor’s value proposition.
• Understand customer applications and use cases.
• Design-in Nordic solutions with regional sales managers, distributors, and reps.
• Respond to technical inquiries and provide timely solutions.
• Serve as technical expert in the Sales team.
• Develop and own key technical relationships with customers.
