Diodes Incorporated is seeking a Field Applications Engineer to support automotive and transportation accounts on the West Coast from Milpitas, CA. You will solve design challenges with application solutions and provide product recommendations, interfacing with customers regularly.

Qualifications

• BSEE with at least 10 years of design or FAE experience.
• Automotive experience preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Deep knowledge of DCDC topologies and LDO operation.
• Experience with diodes, rectifiers, power management devices, timing and connectivity devices.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the territory to provide customers with technical and sales support for company products.
• Work closely with customers to understand system application requirements for new sales opportunities and technical recommendations.
• Collaborate with marketing and engineering to define new products and support automotive design cycles.
• Prepare data and documentation for customer presentations and conduct training sessions on new products.
• Prepare data and documentation for territory/segment presentations at quarterly business meetings.
• Act in a teaching capacity with sales channels and customer design teams.
