Job summary

Anton Paar USA, Inc. is seeking a Field Application Specialist to install, train, and qualify complex instruments across the West Region.

You will support customers and the sales team, deliveringPQPs and maintaining technical expertise across product lines such as particle size, zeta potential, and gas sorption analyzers. The role requires travel up to 80% (overnight possible) and a customer-focused, independent work style.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience with assigned analytical methods.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication with diverse clients.
• Ability to work independently and with strong customer focus.

As Field Application Specialist, you apply your knowledge to delivering installations, training for complex scientific instruments, and provide support to customers and sales team within Anton Paar USA’s West Region. The assigned product lines included particle size, zeta potential and gas sorption analyzers. This position is ideally based in Sacramento, CA, but Portland, OR and Seattle, WA may work, too. The base salary range for this position is $75,000/year to $84,900/year and depends on related experience. Anton Paar USA offers full benefits and a profit-sharing contribution to your 401k retirement savings. We offer a $10,000 anniversary bonus every five years plus additional bonus opportunities.

Job Description

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience with assigned analytical methods
• Exceptional communications skills (written, oral, and presentation) for interactions with clients ranging from quality Control Technicians to University Professors and CEOs.
• Ability to work independently and with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering or materials science.
