Job summary

AchieveBio is seeking a Field Application Scientist – Immunoassays to support immunoassay platforms with pre- and post-sales scientific expertise. The role emphasizes training, product demonstrations, and assay development collaboration with customers, with travel up to 50%.

The ideal candidate holds a PhD in Biochemistry or Immunology (or MS with 5+ years bench experience) and has strong presentation and communication skills to thrive in a fast-growing life sciences company.

Qualifications

• PhD in Biochemistry, Immunology or related Life Science discipline required; MS with 5+ years bench exp. acceptable.
• Technical expertise in immunoassays, assay development and troubleshooting required.
• Keen understanding of antibodies, protein interactions, and building assays from scratch in various matrices.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-sales scientific support to local sales team.
• Present scientific seminars and product demonstrations to customers.

Our client is a leading provider of instrumentation and biochemical assays for life science and drug discovery research. Their platform is used for a variety of applications including biomarker discovery, cell signaling pathway analysis, and toxicology studies in both research and pre-clinical markets. This is an innovative and growing mid-sized company with highly respected technology.

Previous FAS experience is a plus, but not required. If you meet the technical requirements and have the interpersonal/presentation skills required for this position, we are definitely interested in speaking to Scientists looking to transition from the bench to a customer facing role.
