Job summary

Coherix, Inc. seeks a Field Application Engineer to install, set up, train, and support our process control and machine vision products at automotive customers, onsite or via remote access.

You will perform feasibility studies on customer parts, prepare reports, and relay critical feedback to Engineering, Sales, Marketing and Product Development teams. Occasional domestic and international travel is required.

Qualifications

• Associates level degree or equivalent in an Engineering discipline.
• Strong problem-solving and customer relations skills.
• Willingness to travel internationally and domestically on short notice.
• Minimum of one year experience in field application or related role.

Responsibilities

• Install, setup, train and support process control and machine vision products (hardware and software) at automotive customer environments (onsite and/or remote access).
• Conduct in-house feasibility studies on sample parts, generate reports, and relay customer feedback to relevant teams.
• Communicate customer feedback to Application Engineering, Sales, Marketing and Product Development teams for product improvements.
• Travel domestically and internationally as required.

Job description

We are currently hiring Field Application Engineers who are responsible for the installation, setup, training and ongoing support of process control and machine vision products including hardware and software within automotive manufacturing customer environments (onsite and/or remote access).

As a Field Application Engineer, you are responsible for conducting in-house feasibility studies on sample parts from customers, generating reports and bringing critical customer feedback to the Application Engineering, Sales and Marketing and Product Development teams to make improvements where possible. Successful team members will have a positive, confident, “go-getter” attitude with a minimum of one year experience, and mechanical and electrical engineering knowledge.
