Job summary

Real-Time Innovations (RTI) is seeking a Field Application Engineer to collaborate with customers on complex challenges in mission-critical, intelligent distributed systems for defense and related industries.

You will engage with programs across defense, develop PoCs, explain RTI technology to diverse stakeholders, and contribute to sales strategies while traveling primarily in the New England region. This role requires US citizenship and offers remote work options.

Qualifications

• BS or higher in engineering or computer science; MS preferred.
• 5+ years in application-facing technical services or sales.
• Experience with one or more: C/C++/Python/Java/.NET.
• Strong oral and written communication; able to explain RTI technology to varied audiences.

Responsibilities

• Help teams selecting future software architecture for defense systems.
• Explain RTI technology to executives, architects, program managers and developers.
• Develop Proof-of-Concept prototypes and demonstrations with prospects.
• Develop sales strategies with your account manager teammate.
• Communicate customer requirements to Product Management and engineering.
• Join our online developer community as a RTI domain expert.
• Contribute to technical articles and speaking engagements.
