Job summary

KEYENCE is seeking a Field Application Engineer to join our team. This field-based role involves solving technical challenges for American manufacturing, with most time spent on-site with customers and sales teams.

The position may be named Application Engineer, Vision Consulting Engineer, or Integration Support Engineer depending on product line. You'll travel 60–100% across the region, receive world-class training, and enjoy a base salary plus a quarterly bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or 4+ years military experience with an Associate's).
• Willingness to travel 60–100% to customer sites.
• Ability to lift and transport demo equipment (up to 85 lbs).
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Solve complex customer challenges through configurations of our products.
• Install and program products using hand tools or programming languages.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support, training, and troubleshooting.
• Travel extensively across the region to deliver hands-on solutions.
• Conduct product testing and create detailed reports to aid sales.
