Job summary

Fenner Dunlop, a Michelin Group company, is seeking an Application Engineering Specialist to perform on-site conveyor belt surveys and technical assessments at customer locations. You will collect field data, document conditions, and help develop technical recommendations, quotes, and long-term solutions.

This role requires close collaboration with sales, distributors, and service teams, focusing on belt life, performance, and product opportunities.

Qualifications

Technical or engineering-related education or equivalent practical experience.
Ability to inspect, measure, photograph, document, and communicate technical field information.
Strong written and verbal communication for professional interaction with customers and teams.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of time.

Responsibilities

Conduct conveyor belt surveys and inspections at customer sites.
Document belt conditions, specifications, covers, splices, and layouts.
Collect field measurements and technical details for quotes and recommendations.
Prepare comprehensive survey reports with observations and photos.
Travel with sales/distributor teams for inspections and trainings.
