Job summary

ANELLO Photonics, Inc. in Santa Clara, CA, is seeking a Field Applications Engineer to work with engineering, product management, and sales to drive customer value. You will lead deployments, deliver technical demos, and provide data-driven applications support to ensure customer success.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years hands-on experience with autonomous vehicles, drones, robotics, navigation, or similar systems.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills and a passion for understanding and solving customer needs.
• Excellent communication, organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Well organized with strong project management skills and ability to manage several projects in parallel.
• Exposure to IMU, gyroscopes, or inertial navigation in project/work experience.
• Military or Defense sector experience a plus.
• Drone or Robotics operations experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interface directly with customers and provide technical applications support for integration of ANELLO products.
• Coordinate and execute complex project-based activities such as proof‑of‑values and customer demos.
• Collaborate with ANELLO engineering and product teams to analyze data and ensure customer requirements are met.
• Assist business development team in assessing potential applications of ANELLO products and preparing detailed product specifications.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.

Job Summary:

As a Field Applications Engineer, you will work closely with engineering, product management, and sales to ensure that ANELLO products drive value to customers. This includes leading deployments in the field, product demonstrations, technical applications support, and data analysis to ensure customer success. The ideal candidate will be a scrappy executor with hands‑on technical background and strong communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Candidate must have excellent communication, organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Well organized and professional with strong project management skills - including a proven record of managing several projects in parallel.
• Exposure to IMU (inertial measurement unit), gyroscopes, or inertial navigation in project or work experience.
• Military or Defense sector experience a plus.
• Drone or Robotics operations experience a plus
