Job summary

Photoneo Brightpick Group, now part of Zebra Technologies, is seeking a 3D Vision/Robotics Field Application Engineer to define project scopes using Photoneo technology. You will work with skilled consultants and R&D to support sales, perform PoC analyses on-site, and relay customer needs to product management.

Location is primarily the United States (Detroit area) with up to 50% travel. Full-time role requiring strong technical and customer-facing skills, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in industrial automation or robotics.
• Preferred experience with machine vision, Linux OS, CAD; hobby counts as experience.
• Previous experience as an Application/System/Deployment/Field Engineer or similar role.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical point of contact for customers and sales reps.
• Execute PoC analyses with Photoneo & Zebra products.
• Guide customers to define the right Photoneo product for their application.
• Collect and categorize customer feedback for product management.
• Prepare and deliver trainings; contribute to knowledge sharing.
• Assist customers with installations and suggest improvements.
• Explore new use cases; prepare content for marketing and testing.
