Job summary

Southchip Semiconductor Technology in Cupertino, CA seeks an engineer to test, debug, and support wireless charging products at customer sites. You will gather customer requirements for new features and provide market feedback to guide chip definition and R&D.

You will assist the sales team by resolving technical issues to promote design‑in and design‑win efforts while maintaining strong customer relationships for long‑term cooperation.

Qualifications

• Background in power electronics, power modules, or power management ICs; wireless charging preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration across time zones with China‑based teams.
• Strong debugging and analytics in power circuit design.
• Experience with software logs analysis.

• Support the sales team in resolving technical issues during the sales process to drive design‑in and design‑win efforts.
• Maintain strong customer relationships to ensure long‑term and stable cooperation.

Qualifications:

• Educational background and hands‑on experience in power electronics, power modules, or power management ICs. Preference will be given to candidates with a background in wireless charging or resonant converters.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across time zones with domestic (China‑based) teams.
• Strong analytical and debugging capabilities in power circuit design, enabling rapid problem analysis and troubleshooting.
• Some experience with software applications and the ability to analyze software logs.
• High sense of responsibility and ownership.
