Job summary

Sunway Communication in the Bay Area seeks a dynamic field application engineer to engage with top-tier customers, resolve design for manufacturing gaps, and coordinate with our China factory engineering team. You will lead technical discussions, support product design teams, and manage schedules to meet build deadlines, with occasional Asia travel and strong communication skills.

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and 6+ years experience with customers are required, plus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required.
• 6+ years of experience with top-tier customers is a plus.
• Experience in project management is preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Take lead in technical discussions related to DFM (design for manufacturing) with customers.

• Lead communication between internal engineering/project management and develop schedules to meet build deadlines.
• Assist Key Account Managers in resolving technical issues.

We are seeking a dynamic and pro‑active field application engineer to engage and resolve technical related barriers in the design of precision metal stamping parts with top‑tier customers in Bay Area. The ideal candidate will work closely with China factory engineering team and meet with customers to close design gaps.

Job Descriptions

• Take lead in technical discussions related to DFM (designed for manufacturing) and design proposals with customers.
• Work closely with customer's product design team in solving technical related issues.
• Lead the communication between internal engineering team/project management team and develop schedule to meet build deadlines.
• Assist Key Account Managers in resolving technical issues.
• Active meetings with customers regarding project status/design/engineering issues/future opportunities.
• Occasional travel to Asia.
• Legal working status.

Job Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree and above in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering 6+ years’ experience
• Experiences in working with top‑tier customers is a plus
