Job summary

Teradyne's Field Applications team in Austin seeks a highly motivated Field Application Engineer to collaborate with product and customer teams to design practical test solutions for semiconductor devices.

You will develop test software, review load-board schematics, and analyze issues on Teradyne ATE platforms to improve customer throughput and enable reliable production testing. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
• Experience with ATE platforms or semiconductor tests.
• Ability to work in both team and independent settings.

Responsibilities

• Develop, debug and deploy test solutions for digital, high-speed digital, SoC, mixed-signal and analog devices.
• Test program software development, often in collaborative environments.
• Load board / probe card schematics design and layout review for a test solution.
• Analyze problems and optimize Teradyne ATE platform to improve customer throughput.

• Develop, debug and deployment of test solutions for Digital, High-Speed Digital, System on Chip, Mixed Signal and Analog semiconductor devices.
• Test program software development, often done in collaborative environment
• Load board / probe card schematics design and layout review for a test solution
• Analyze problems and recommend solutions on Teradyne ATE platform to optimize customer throughput
