Job summary

Oceaneering International is seeking an API Inspector to review inspection data files for pipelines, process piping, pressure vessels, and tanks to ensure mechanical integrity in compliance with governing codes. Travel to client sites, facilities, and offshore locations is required, with travel mainly domestic and some international travel.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years’ experiences in Mechanical Equipment inspection activities.
• Knowledge of AWS, ASME, API standards (510, 570, 653) is required.
• Capable of passing a Level 2 UT examination certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform internal and external inspections to determine code compliance.
• Conduct inspections at scheduled intervals to maintain mechanical integrity.
• Prepare and submit daily and inspection reports; maintain organized files.
• Recommend repairs and perform visual inspection of completed work.
