• Patrols roads to search for stray animals; takes injured or sick animals to a veterinarian.
• Enforces vaccination and licensing of dogs.
• Investigates and follows up on animal cruelty cases.
• Provides information to the public concerning confinement laws and vaccination regulations.
• Maintains assigned truck and equipment such as catch poles and traps.
• Performs general duty law enforcement work in emergency situations.
• Performs related work as required.
