Vertex is seeking a Field Analytics and Reporting Associate Director to lead analytics across Field roles and support upcoming product launches. You will partner with IT, vendors, and cross-functional teams to deliver dashboards, drive adoption, and influence field strategy with data-driven insights.
The role requires hands-on analytics in Snowflake and Power BI, strong communication with leadership, and a deep understanding of pharmaceutical sales operations.
As the Field Analytics and Reporting Associate Director, you will be responsible for supporting all field analytics to support the current and upcoming product launches for Vertex. This role reports to the Director of Field Analytics in North America IACO (Insights Analytics & Commercial Operations). This role will support strategy, design, roadmap planning, delivery, and adoption of all analytics across all field roles within the Strategic Customer Engagement Team including Field Account Managers, Regional/Area Managers, Strategic Account Leads, and Virtual Field Representatives. This role will also serve as a critical team member for the Business Unit Analytical Support team and be able to effectively analyze data sources across prescription data sources (Hospital/Retail/Claims), field activity, and related channels as well as be a strong communicator to the business unit leadership on findings and recommendations based on analyses. This role will work closely with all members from the Business Units, fostering teamwork and collaboration across areas such as Market Access, Marketing, Forecasting, and Marketing Science. This role will also be a critical member of the North America Field Operations team, working closely with Incentive Compensation, Targeting & Alignments, and Data Management, to ensure a seamless experience for the field user and cross-functional insights. This is a hands-on role and will require both strategic and tactical experience and strong business/technical acumen in pharmaceutical sales and sales operations functions.
Bachelor's Degree and 8+ years in a pharmaceutical analytics role 3+ years of experience delivering complex analytics for product launches within the pharma industry, including support of brand planning, field strategy/sizing, channel optimization, field performance reporting, and Ad hoc requests to support business planning and refinements
Pay Range: $157,800 - $236,600
