Position: Field Airborne Support Team AMT IV A&P (Remote)

Skills & Requirements:
- This is a remote opportunity. Must be available on an on-call basis, with the ability to be on site or dispatched within two hours of initial contact from Gulfstream.
- Recruiting in the Southwest region: Louisiana, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Texas.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 6 years of aviation maintenance experience, including 2 years with Gulfstream aircraft.
- A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license required.
- Valid Driver’s License and ability to obtain Passport.
Position Purpose: Perform technical aircraft maintenance, repair, replacement, and modification of key aircraft components on AOG aircraft during road trips and in the Customer Support organization. Support diagnosing and resolving technical issues on customer aircraft.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be available on an on-call basis, able to be on site or dispatched within two hours.
- Communicate effectively with customers, scheduling, flight crews, Tech Ops, vendors, warranty, field service reps, and hangar ops.
- Act as the primary contact between Gulfstream and the customer regarding aircraft schedule and return to service.
- Perform AOG maintenance and servicing of aircraft mechanical systems.
- Work independently to perform maintenance and avionics tasks within standard timeframes.
- Repair and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical aircraft components.
- Coordinate with inspection teams for FAA compliance.
- Maintain professional relationships with customers and provide briefings during road trips.
- Properly tag and store customer property and aircraft components.
- Follow operating procedures for ground support equipment.
- Operate and oversee special support equipment for major component removal and installation.
Additional Functions:
- Order and receive tooling and materials needed for AOG service.
- Arrange shipment of core units and tooling back to Gulfstream.
- Identify advanced troubleshooting techniques with Tech Ops assistance.
Other Requirements:
- Advanced knowledge of aircraft inspection and maintenance procedures.
- Proficiency with technical manuals, service bulletins, engineering drawings, etc.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
