Job summary

Sound Agriculture is seeking an Agronomy Manager to lead field-based agronomy and dealer education across a remote sales territory. You will train dealers and growers, run trials, and translate results into practical guidance for nutrient efficiency and soil health.

This role combines front‑line engagement with behind‑the‑scenes data work to drive adoption of Sound’s portfolio. Based remotely with ~40% travel, you’ll collaborate with R&D, sales, and marketing to develop content, support product

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in agronomy and/or field sales.
• Strong understanding of crop profiles and regional practices.
• Experience in agronomic consultation for nutrient management and soil health.
• Experience delivering in-person and digitally enabled group training.
• Experience in product testing, trial management, and evaluating product efficacy.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of biostimulants, biologicals, and soil health inputs market.

Responsibilities

• Deliver external training to dealers and growers, including workshops and webinars.
• Lead field trials, collect data, and translate results into actionable insights.
• Act as agronomic advisor to dealers and growers, promoting nutrient efficiency.
• Support sales enablement with ROI data, case studies, and placement guides.
• Collaborate with R&D, product, and marketing to create practical agronomy content.
