Job summary

The Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) in Wisconsin seeks an Agriculture Auditor (Entry Level or Level 3) for field-based work across the state. Qualifications

• Work experience and training in accounting or finance (preparing reports for accounts payable and/or accounts receivable, performing bank reconciliations, auditing accounting records).
• Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance from an accredited post-secondary college/university.
• Experience working within the grain industry (commodities market analysis, future pricing, hedging).
• Experience interpreting and applying rules and/or regulations (state/federal statutes, policies, laws).
• Experience with conducting financial or compliance audits, preparing financial statements or performing financial statement analysis.
• Experience with mathematic fundamentals including the ability to accurately apply formulas (Excel, etc.).
