Job summary

Automotive Technology Experts is seeking a Field Technician to deliver high-quality diagnostic, programming, and calibration services at Crash Champions locations. The role requires daily travel in a company vehicle, strict adherence to OEM standards, and clear documentation of all services.

The ideal candidate has ADAS and electrical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a proactive, safety‑minded approach. Applicants must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work Saturdays as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5+ years of automotive experience diagnosing a wide range of vehicle systems.
• Strong ADAS and electrical service knowledge, including calibrations (levels 1–3), programming, diagnostics, and wiring repair.
• Proficient with electrical diagnostic equipment such as multimeters, power probes, and resistors.
• Ability to read OEM and aftermarket service information and wiring diagrams.
• Capable of programming vehicle modules using factory or approved non-factory software.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fast and accurate service support to internal and external customers.
• Travel daily to service locations in a company-provided vehicle.
• Perform diagnostics, calibrations, programming, scanning, and wire/connector repair.
• Document services per OEM guidelines and obtain approvals before execution.
• Conduct test drives to verify system functionality and repair outcomes.
• Provide excellent customer service and escalate concerns when needed.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
• Maintain and secure all tools and equipment.
• Complete final billing per MCP guidelines.
