Job summary

LexisNexis Legal & Professional is seeking an Account Executive in San Jose to win new business through consultative sales, building strong relationships, and clearly demonstrating product value. You will prospect into defined industry sectors and compliance departments and collaborate with Account Managers to drive revenue growth.

The role focuses on outbound prospecting, understanding and presenting LexisNexis products, and achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.

Qualifications

• Experience in lead generation or inside sales roles.
• Comfortable managing a high volume of outbound calls (approximately 50–100 per day).
• Strong listening skills with the ability to think quickly and adapt conversations.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team.
• Clear, professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow defined processes.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM systems.

U.S. National Base Pay Range

$81,400 - $151,100.

Total Target Cash Range: $125,300 - $232,700. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates. Pay mix between base and variable pay varies based on sales role; please discuss with the recruiter.
