Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a Field Access Manager (FAM) to navigate reimbursement and access challenges, delivering field-based education to providers, hospitals, and specialty pharmacies. The role focuses on strategic partnerships to resolve access issues and ensure timely therapy initiation.

You will collaborate with internal teams, monitor policy changes, and drive access outcomes across Neuro/Rare indications with up-to-date knowledge of reimbursement landscapes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years in field-based account management, sales, or medical affairs.
• Strong knowledge of reimbursement landscape and practice management.
• Ability to develop and execute account-based strategies to drive access outcomes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Expertise in account management, relationship development, and issue resolution.
• Strong interpersonal skills and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Optimize Patient Access: Navigate reimbursement and access challenges to ensure timely access to therapies.
• Proactive Education and Support: Deliver tailored field-based education on reimbursement processes to key accounts and stakeholders.
• Strategic Partnership: Build and maintain relationships with healthcare organizations to identify and resolve reimbursement and access issues for seamless therapy initiation.
• Enhance Team Capabilities: Educate and support internal teams with knowledge/tools for complex reimbursement and access scenarios.
• Adaptability and Insight: Stay current on healthcare policies, reimbursement trends, and regulatory requirements.
