Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a Field Reimbursement Manager to drive patient access for specialty therapies. You will educate providers on insurance requirements, manage prior authorizations, and coordinate with Hub teams to streamline claims.

Travel up to 25% and collaboration with cross-functional partners are essential as you navigate payer policies and support patient assistance programs in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Education or certifications related to healthcare access or reimbursement.
• 3–4 years of experience with specialty medications (pharma, provider office, or insurance payer).
• Experience with pharmacy and medical benefits in a specialty disease market.

Responsibilities

• Reports to a director on the field reimbursement team for development and mentoring.
• Provides proactive education to healthcare providers on insurance requirements for patient prescriptions.
• Works with Hub case manager and in-network Specialty Pharmacies on prior authorization requirements and communication with HCPs and patients.
• Coordinates communication with Nurse Access Specialist colleagues; facilitates patient assistance when applicable.
• Partners with managed care colleagues to understand policies and highlight new trends.
• Collaborates with sales colleagues when appropriate and as directed by Compliance policies.
