Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Inc. is seeking a full-time Fibroscan Technician to perform fibroscans at the Boston location and off-site sites. The role includes patient care, scheduling, and data reporting to physicians for billing and records.

Transportation to off-site locations is provided by the department. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and 0-1 years of related experience, with certification in fibroscanning to be obtained within 6 months.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Associate's degree preferred.
• 0-1 years related work experience required.
• Certification in Fibroscanning by Manufacturer to be obtained within 6 months of employment.
• Basic familiarity with computers and basic web-based applications.

Responsabilités

• Performs fibroscans in Boston location and off-site locations; transportation provided by department.
• Schedules/confirms all fibroscans and maintains an Excel spreadsheet for statistics.
• Captures referrals and prior authorizations for fibroscans; interacts with patients and physicians.
