Job summary

Gastro Health is seeking a Part-Time Ultrasound Technician to join our team in the Miami area. The role involves assisting in diagnosis through ultrasound examinations for patients aged 16 and older, performing Fibro Scan imaging, and ensuring alignment with physicians' orders.

You will greet patients, maintain a welcoming environment, and manage patient flow between appointments. A high school diploma and medical assistant experience are required, with GI experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Medical Assistant experience required.
• GI experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Perform examinations of patients aged 16+ to assist in diagnosis.
• Position patients for Fibro Scan and use patient positioning methods.
• Perform Fibro Scan imaging procedures and ensure alignment with physician orders.
• Take clear images and maintain patient confidentiality and professionalism.
• Greet patients, ensure comfort, and respond to patient needs and concerns.
• Ensure timely patient flow and collaborate with Imaging Coordinators.

Education
