Duties you will be responsible for:

• Under the general direction of the Imaging Manager, perform examinations of patients of ages 16 or above for the purpose of assisting in the diagnosis of patient illness.
• Position patients for FibroScan using patient positioning methods and protective equipment as necessary.
• Performs FibroScan imaging procedures on appropriate anatomical regions in accordance with accepted standards of practice.
• Take clear images. Ensure FibroScan being performed is consistent with the physician's order. Must refrain from comments regarding the outcome of the exam in front of the patient unless instructed to do so by the provider.
• Greets patients and makes them feel welcome. Demonstrates concern for patients within or outside of the organization, effectively responding to their needs and problems. Is committed to increasing customer satisfaction. Ensures commitments to customers are met.
• Gathers appropriate clinical information. Turns over FibroScan room efficiently between patients to keep patient flow. Thorough and timely in communicating. Effective utilization of available resources, organizes own work, and possess effective time management skills.
