Job summary

Agile Building Solutions in Phoenix is seeking a dependable Fiberglass Operator to support the manufacturing of high-quality shower base products. The role starts at $19 per hour, full-time, non-exempt, with a 1:30pm–9:30pm schedule and occasional overtime.

You will prepare and apply fiberglass materials, reinforce shower bases, perform quality checks, and follow work orders to ensure products meet standards. Safety and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1–3 months of related manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand safety rules, operating instructions, work orders, and procedure manuals.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to follow instructions and established manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
  • Reliable attendance and willingness to work occasional overtime as needed.
  • Ability to work safely around manufacturing equipment, chemicals, and moving mechanical parts.

Responsibilities

  • Manufacture shower bases according to work orders, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Properly handle and work with fiberglass materials and chemicals.
  • Apply fiberglass thoroughly and consistently to required products.
  • Reinforce shower base products according to established procedures.
  • Perform quality checks throughout the production process.
  • Maintain required production logs, reports, and work orders.
  • Monitor material and supply inventory and notify appropriate personnel when additional inventory is needed.
  • Identify and communicate product, equipment, safety, or production concerns promptly.
  • Follow all safety procedures related to chemicals, machinery, equipment, and personal protective equipment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Support other production activities as needed.
  • Follow operating instructions, procedures, and quality standards at all times.

About the Role

Agile is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Fiberglass Operator to support the manufacturing of high-quality shower base products.

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and applying fiberglass materials, reinforcing shower bases, completing quality checks, and following work orders to ensure finished products meet customer and company standards. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, follows safety procedures carefully, and takes pride in producing consistent, quality work.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
  • Reliable attendance and willingness to work occasional overtime as needed.
  • Ability to work safely around manufacturing equipment, chemicals, and moving mechanical parts.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
  • Frequent walking, reaching, handling, and repetitive use of hands and arms.
  • Ability to occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to perform work requiring close vision, distance vision, and color recognition.
  • Ability to work around moving mechanical equipment, fumes, airborne particles, chemicals, heat, and varying environmental conditions.
