Aquatic Leisure Technologies Inc. (ALT Inc.) / Aqua Technics Pools in Opp, Alabama is seeking a Fiberglass Mould & Plug Builder in the Tooling Division to fabricate, repair, and maintain fiberglass moulds and prototype plugs used in pool manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Hands-on fiberglass moulding, lamination, and gelcoat finishing.
• Ability to read and follow technical drawings and templates.
• Understanding composite material behavior and curing processes.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety requirements and PPE handling.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, repair, and maintain fiberglass moulds and plugs per specs.
• Sand, fill, bog, and polish to achieve high-gloss finishes.
• Apply gelcoat, resins, and fiberglass in controlled layers.
• Interpret work orders and drawings; conduct inspections.
• Ensure mould surfaces meet durability and finish standards.
• Follow OSHA safety protocols and PPE requirements.
• Report nonconformances to QA or production supervisor.
• Maintain tools and workspace per 6S standards.
• Assist with lifting and moving of moulds using approved equipment.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
