Fluid Motion, LLC, Auburn, WA, is seeking a Fiberglass Laminator to manufacture high-quality fiberglass boat components. The role covers hand lay-up, lamination, and operating laminating equipment to build vessel parts in a fast-paced production environment.

You will ensure product quality and dimensional accuracy while adhering to safety, environmental, and quality standards. The position requires physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with shift hours from 5:00 AM to 1:30

Fiberglass Laminator is responsible for manufacturing high-quality fiberglass boat components by applying fiberglass materials, resins, and reinforcement fabrics to molds according to production specifications. This position performs hand lay-up and lamination processes, ensures product quality and dimensional accuracy, and follows all safety, environmental, and quality standards. The Fiberglass Laminator works as part of a production team to meet manufacturing schedules while maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Shift Hours: 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM - Monday to Friday

Requirements

Fiberglass Laminator

• Mounts rolls of fiberglass on chopper gun machine spindles.
• Threads fiberglass through machine rollers and secures film to take up spindles.
• Operates and maintains the chopper and gel-coat gun and other lamination equipment.
• Adjusts controls to regulate speed, temperature, and pressure of laminating equipment.
• Uses rollers to physically remove air and resin from the fiberglass and roving.

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular and consistent basis.
• Ability to bend, stoop, lift, climb, balance and reach for the duration of the shift.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for the entire duration of shift.
• Ability to keep up with fast pace environments.
• Ability to use hands for the duration of the shift
