Job summary

Plascore Inc. is seeking a Fiberglass Fabricator for its Aramid division on 1st shift (6:30a - 2:30p, Mon-Fri). Starting pay is $20.98/hour with a sign-on bonus and ongoing incentives.

Responsibilities include finishing, coating, gluing, stacking, trimming, and ensuring adherence to drawings and work instructions. The role requires reading and following written instructions, preparing materials, operating ovens, and maintaining quality and safety practices in a team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Ability to work overtime.
• Must be eligible to work on ITAR programs.

• Perform finish work on components, assemblies, and products including coating, glueing, stacking and trimming.
• Read, understand and execute written work instructions for the manufacture of parts.
• Operate ovens to select the proper recipe for the operation.
• Inspect parts against quality requirements.
• Prepare tools and materials for fiberglass block production.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and document data.
• Support other operations as needed.

As a Fiberglass Fabricator you will perform multiple operations such as drilling, coating, gluing, stacking, pressing and trimming product.***SIGN ON BONUS***$1200 FOR THIS ROLE ONLY.$100 EVERY 30 DAYS YOU WORK UNTIL 1 YEAR ($1200).Currently there is an opening for a Fiberglass Fabricator in our Aramid division on 1st shift (6:30a - 2:30p. Monday - Friday)Aramid Fiberglass Fabricator: Starting at $20.98 per hour on 1st Shift!Key Responsibilities:Support essential duties and responsibilities with moderate to low supervision.Perform finish work on components, assemblies, and products including coating, glueing, stacking and trimming.Assist other operations as needed.Complete fabrication and assembly per the drawings/instructions.Read, understand and execute upon written work instructions for the manufacture of parts.Fill out all documentation completely and accurately.Completes necessary paperwork and enters data into the electronic data system.Follow all required processes and procedures.Trim blocks after assembly and curing.Properly prepare tools for stacking of fiberglass.Properly prepare materials needed for manufacturing fiberglass blocks (corrugated glass, resin, flats, material, etc.)Operate ovens to correctly select the proper recipe for the required operation.Accurately inspect parts against the quality requirements.Interpret and follow a work schedule and advise if there are issues.Provide the customer with the best value including Cost, Quality, and Delivery.Handle internal and external questions in a prompt professional manner.Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.Performs all reasonably related duties as assigned.Ability to support all required quality audits for specific areas (ex. fiberglass, prime cure oven, trim saw, ect...)Qualifications:High school diploma or GED preferredStrong attention to detailMechanically inclinedAbility to work overtime.Additional Requirements:Must be eligible to work on programs subject to ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations).Plascore is an established global manufacturer of honeycomb core, composite structures, and cleanrooms.
