Job summary

Altec in Duluth, MN, is hiring for an installation role. You will install unit vehicle components and accessories, read blueprints and work orders to understand customer requirements, and test installed components. You will use hand tools, learn all equipment in the cell, and participate in cross-training across production areas.

The job emphasizes safety, quality adherence, and training new associates, with opportunities to support APS initiatives and cross-functional team movement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend.
• Basic computer usage knowledge.
• Ability to read tape measures, blueprints, and schematics.

• Maintain work area and shop tools/equipment.
• Adhere to Altec's attendance policy.
• Other job duties as assigned.

Pay range: $22.17 with $2.00 shift differential. We are committed to fair and competitive pay for all associates based on their experience, education, and qualifications.
