Job summary

National Technologies (NTI), a Network Connex Company, seeks an Associate Field Engineer - Validations to ensure quality and successful commissioning of large-scale fiber infrastructure in hyperscale data centers. You will validate installations, perform OLTS and OTDR tests, and contribute to turnover documentation for customer acceptance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree preferred in engineering/telecom.
• 2–3 years of fiber optic installation, testing or telecom experience.
• Hands-on experience with OLTS and OTDR testing.
• Familiarity with TIA/BICSI standards and data center environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform and support fiber optic validation and testing activities (OLTS Tier 1, OTDR Tier 2).
• Review and validate fiber installation quality, including routing, labeling, termination, and splicing.
• Assist in development and completion of test result packages for customer acceptance.
• Coordinate with splicing/installation crews to troubleshoot fiber issues.
• Track daily production metrics related to testing and validation.
• Maintain accurate records of fiber counts, test results, and as-built conditions.
