The Cable Installer role supports head ends, hubs, and central offices by installing electronic gear and cabling for MSO, cable, telecom, data center, and communications environments.

Qualifications

1+ years field installation and cabling experience.
1+ years working documentation on technical jobs (JCR, SOW, etc.).
1+ years of leading work/jobs in the field.
CDL Class B preferred.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with team members to complete cabling installation activities.
Assist in equipment installation and ensure proper setup.
Support infrastructure installation tasks as part of project requirements.
Perform testing of video, RF, coax, fiber, and UTP systems to ensure functionality.
Conduct quality assurance checks to maintain compliance with standards and specifications.

Skills

Cable TV knowledge

CMTS and head-ends familiarity

Coaxial, fiber, UTP installation

DC power systems

Troubleshooting via PC/Mobile apps
