Job summary

Forged Fiber 37 Services, LLC is hiring an entry-level Fiber Installer in Seattle to install, repair and test home and small business broadband services. You will work on outdoor environments, connect cables, set up modems/routers, and troubleshoot drops with customers on site.

No prior experience required, though customer service or related work is a plus. Beyond physical activity, you’ll follow safety policies, learn to interpret orders and diagrams, and contribute to reliable network delivery

Qualifications

No experience required, but willingness to work outdoors and some customer service or related experience are preferred.
Possess a valid state driver’s license and maintain a satisfactory driving record.
Comfort with performing physically demanding tasks outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

Perform all in-home installation and service work for consumer and small business customers, including ONT, SmartNID, gateways, extenders, Ethernet, copper, and fiber inside wiring.
Interact with customers professionally and courteously (on-site and by phone); explain features, usage, applications, and equipment capabilities.
Evaluate customer needs and appropriately identify and communicate additional/alternative service opportunities.
Install, repair, reconnect, rearrange and hang aerial drops as needed for service delivery and service repair.
Place, flag, and bury or dig in buried drops for permanent installations.
