Job summary

Lumin8 Transportation Technologies LLC is seeking personnel for full-time, hourly work in Marietta, GA. The role involves installing and networking OSP fiber, reading prints and splice allocations, testing with OTDR, and preparing reports.

Typical hours are 40 per week, 7:00am–3:30pm, with possible overtime and on-call shifts. Must have at least 2 years of experience, a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver license (CDL preferred) and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years previous experience.
• May be required to work some nights, weekends or be on call.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and at high elevations (manholes, hydraulic lift bucket, poles, ladders etc.)
• Knowledge of utility pole hardware & lineman tools.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Testing/Troubleshooting equipment prior to installation.
• Comply with all OSHA safety regulations
• Correctly set up safety perimeters and signage
• Responsible for maintaining and submitting all paperwork necessary for jobs completed
• Maintain a clean work environment including trucks/trailers
• Drive and maintain work truck including fluid levels, tire pressure and reporting any problems to a supervisor.
• Maintain job specific inventory and equipment
