Job summary

Forged Fiber is seeking an entry-level installer for in-home fiber service. You will install, repair, and test internet services for homes and small businesses, explain setup details to customers, and coordinate necessary work orders onsite and over the phone.

No experience is required, but willingness to work outdoors and some customer service exposure are preferred. This role involves driving to locations, following safety policies, and lifting equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication with customers and teammates.
• Ability to climb and work at heights and in outdoor environments.
• Strict adherence to safety policies and procedures.
• Comfort working outdoors in varied weather conditions.
• Capable of reading orders, maps, diagrams, and service tickets.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-home installation and service work for consumers and small businesses.
• Explain features and usage of installed equipment to customers.
• Identify and communicate additional service opportunities to customers.
• Ensure proper installation, repair, and testing of fiber services (ONT, gateways, ethernet).
• Schedule and coordinate with customers for onsite and phone interactions.
• Utilize company devices to document work orders and diagnostics.
