Job summary

SpaceXAI in Memphis is seeking a Fiber Technician to install and maintain critical network infrastructure for our data center, applying hands-on skills in fiber optics and a willingness to grow in a high-growth tech environment.

You will work onsite with a collaborative team, handling splicing, inspections, and cable routing while ensuring safety and reliability to support SpaceXAI’s mission. The role requires lifting up to 35 lbs, and flexibility for evenings or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of direct data center experience installing and routing optical fiber in large facilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of datacenter installation projects under supervision.
• Maintain a safe and productive work environment.
• Develop sensor indicators and perform inspections to prevent failures.
• Troubleshoot, repair and install fiber optic systems.
• Examine and replace faulty fiber cables.
• Organize scheduled maintenance routines.
• Perform fiber splicing and address problem areas.
• Monitor signal strength across devices.
• Maintain system records and designs.
