Job summary

SpaceXAI’s Memphis data center is seeking a hands-on Fiber Technician to install and maintain critical network infrastructure onsite. You’ll work with a motivated team to ensure seamless fiber performance that supports SpaceXAI’s mission in AI-driven discovery.

Responsibilities include safety, troubleshooting, splicing, and documenting system designs while adapting to site needs for reliable connectivity.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of data center fiber installation experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of datacenter installation projects under supervision.
• Ensure a safe and productive work environment.
• Develop sensor indicators and conduct timely inspections.
• Troubleshoot, repair and install fiber optic systems.
• Examine and replace faulty fiber cables.
• Organize scheduled maintenance routines.
• Take care of fiber splicing and rectify problem areas.
• Keep track of the signal strength of different devices.
• Formulate and maintain system records and system designs.
