• Hand-pull fiber per company standards.
• Use fiber puller and fiber blower to install fiber.
• Set handholes.
• Trench conduit.
• Cut concrete.
• Core drill.
• Install conduit (EMT, Rigid, Plenum).
• Proof conduit (rod and rope).
• Gain access to handhole and manholes.
• Read designs.
• Set up traffic control.
• Make ready wood poles.
• Run equipment (Fiber Puller, Fiber Blower, Mini Excavator, Micro Plow, Aerial Lift).

Summary:

The Fiber Installation Technician is to be responsible for properly pulling fiber by hand, with a fiber puller, or blowing fibers. Setting handholes per company standards. Trenching in conduit to depth. Work with other crew members.
