TEKsystems seeks a detail‑oriented Cable Technician to support fiber validation, auditing, and troubleshooting activities. The role requires hands-on testing, auditing, and documentation of network infrastructure to ensure accuracy and reliability.

You will collaborate with engineering and operations, verify inventory, and report findings with clear recommendations. This on‑site position is based in New Albany, OH, with a standard 8–5 schedule and rotating on‑call.

Qualifications

• Experience validating fiber infrastructure.
• Ability to perform fiber testing with OTDR and Fluke equipment.
• Familiarity with network cabling standards (Cat5/Cat6) and documentation.

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Cable Technician to support fiber validation, auditing, and troubleshooting activities.

Hours

Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. The role includes a rotating on‑call schedule. During site turn‑ups, the schedule shifts to 10‑hour days, 6 days per week.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay range $25.00 - $32.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
