TEKsystems seeks a detail‑oriented Cable Technician to support fiber validation, auditing, and troubleshooting activities. The role requires hands-on testing, auditing, and documentation of network infrastructure to ensure accuracy and reliability.

You will collaborate with engineering and operations, verify inventory, and report findings with clear recommendations. This on‑site position is based in New Albany, OH, with a standard 8–5 schedule and rotating on‑call.

Qualifications

• Experience validating fiber infrastructure.
• Ability to perform fiber testing with OTDR and Fluke equipment.
• Familiarity with network cabling standards (Cat5/Cat6) and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Support fiber audit activities, validating infrastructure accuracy.
• Assist in troubleshooting connectivity and configuration issues.
• Validate inventory, connectivity, and documentation across network assets.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations to resolve discrepancies.
• Document findings and provide audit reports and recommendations.
