Siter-Neubauer & Associates is seeking Fiber Technicians or Cable Techs to assist with fiber testing at data centers across the U.S. This travel-based role involves assignments up to two weeks, testing with OTDRs and power meters, with no splicing required.

Ideal candidates have basic cable, low-voltage, or electronics experience and are open to life on the road. Training is provided, with per diem, company-paid travel and lodging, and opportunities for longer-term assignments based on

Competenze

• Experience in cable, low-voltage, or electronics preferred.
• Comfortable using test tools (OTDR, power meter, etc.).
• Able to read labels, trace fiber, and identify server racks.
• Must be able to work independently in the field.
• Valid U.S. driver's license; pass drug and background checks.

Fiber Technician / Cable Techs

Siter-Neubauer & Associates is currently conducting searches forFiber Technicians or Cable Techsto assist withfiber testing (no splicing)at data centers across the U.S. This is atravel-based rolewith assignments that typically run up to two weeks at a time. You'll work hands-on with tools likeOTDRs and power metersto test and verify dark fiber connections—no splicing required.

If you have basic experience with cable, low-voltage, or electronics, and you’re open to life on the road, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain field experience and grow in the fiber optics space.Training provided.

Responsibilities:

• Test dark fiber inside major U.S. data centers
• Travel to various job sites across the U.S.
• Follow safety protocols and standard operating procedures

Qualifications:

• Experience in cable, low-voltage, or electronics preferred
• Comfortable using test tools (OTDR, power meter, etc.)
• Able to read labels, trace fiber, and identify server racks
• Must be able to work independently in the field
• Valid U.S. driver’s license; able to pass drug and background checks
