Job summary

ITC is seeking motivated individuals to join our fiber splicing team in Texas. Training is provided; Telecom experience is preferred but not required. You will splice fiber optic cables underground and aerially, and run fiber drops for residential and commercial clients.

Pay is $20/hr, plus bonus based on performance. The company provides a vehicle, gas, cell phone, tablet, and uniform. Applicants must pass a background check and drug screen, be able to lift up to 100 lbs, have a valid driver’s

Qualifications

• Experience in the Telecom industry is preferred but not required.
• We will fully train you to splice fiber optic cable.
• Ability to work at heights on utility poles and strands.

Responsibilities

• Operate trenching equipment such as mini skid steer or walk-behind trencher.
• Splice fiber optic cable underground and aerially.
• Run fiber drops for residential and commercial customers.
• Maintain safe work practices and comply with company policies.
