Job summary

AFL, together with ITC Service Group, is hiring for fiber splicing roles. We train you to splice fiber optic cables for both residential and commercial customers, including underground and aerial work.

You may operate trenching equipment and handle fiber drops in various settings, with lifting up to 100 pounds and flexibility for extended hours. Ideal candidates bring some telecom experience; training ensures you stay competitive in the telecommunications field.

Qualifications

• Experience in the Telecom industry is preferred but not required.
• We will fully train you to splice fiber optic cable.
• Experience with underground and aerial splicing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Splice fiber optic cable for residential and commercial clients.
• Perform underground and aerial fiber splicing.
• Run fiber drops for clients and perform related installation tasks.
