Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid state driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Related Associate Degree or 2+ years' relevant experience.
• Completed Verizon Technician Program or similar programs covering electrical or lineman training.

Responsibilities

• Installing, splicing, testing, repairing and maintaining the technology that keeps millions of customers connected.
• Be part of a team that ensures fiber-optic network performs reliably.
• Reading and interpreting engineering plans and vendor specifications.
• Climbing ladders and poles, and working aloft with color-differentiated wires.
• Operating work vehicles in a safe manner and adhering to safety protocols.
• Working evenings, weekends, holidays and unscheduled shifts as needed.
